A wonderful 1960s example of Bell Trading post sterling silver and carnelian ring. The carnelian measure 24mm x 7mm. The ring is being sold at this price at a size 7.5 only. The Bell Trading post was established in 1932 along the soon to be famous Route 66. The depression sparked the opening of the Bell trading post, by Jack Michelson and his wife, in hopes to sell Native American Jewelry to passing travelers to support themselves.The hallmark in this ring is one that was used starting 1961.
