Vintage Taxco poison ring featuring a 13.5 mm x 10 mm green aventurine cabochon in this hinged and adjustable unisex jewelry. Poison rings were often used to keep a poison to end the wearers life on their terms but these secret compartment rings were also used to hide religious relics and charms. What will you hide in yours?! The underside of the ornate scrolled setting shows the Taxco stamp, 925 and Mexican eagle. The adjustable shank should fit just about anyone, it is set at about size 7.5. This is a vintage preowned ring, sold as is in great ready to wear condition.
