Rare fossilized beauty! This 14k yellow gold ring features a bezel set 12 mm x 10mm ammolite cabochon and four accent 1.5mm garnets. Ammolite is the gem created from fossilized mollusk which is called ammonite. It’s a rare gem and on the soft side; diamond is a 10 in hardness, amethyst a 7. Ammolite is around a three or four. This is a vintage and pre owned ring, sold as is in what looks like new condition. The Ammolite gem shows no real sign of wear. This ring weighs in at 6 dwt or 9.33 grams. Size 9 only!
