Infants throughout time and cultures have always had rattles as one of their first toys. This Tiffany and Co sterling silver rattler has been loved and gently used by some youngster at some point in time! The initials M M F are inscribed on one side of the handle. The Tiffany hallmark on the other. There are signs of wear and usage; please see the photographs. This rattle tests solidly for 925 sterling silver and weighs 52.5 dwt or 81.64 grams. It measures 5” x 1.875”. This is a pre owned and vintage rattle, sold as is in ready to be played with again condition.
