Incredible high relief carved Made in Greece silver icon. Stamped AG 995 (99.5 Silver) Patented, ESR 31 72, 28 2 1999 Made In Greece. Fabulous religious collectible. Kudos to the original carver!! This is a vintage pre owned item, sold as is in excellent condition. Does not look like it was handled much and has a wonderful patina. Fantastic addition to anyones collection. The egg icon weighs 189.1 dwt or 294.08 grams. Not solid silver. Measures 3" x 2.5". Stand tests for strong sterling silver, weighs 29.5 dwt or 45.87 grams and measures 2.5" in diameter and has what looks like 350 stamped on the inside.
